Nature Photography
Adventures set out to create
the best Galapagos Photography Adventures
in the market. |
 |
Our
photography tours in the Galapagos Islands are superior because:
· Every
group will be led by professional nature photographers Diane Kelsay and
Bob Harvey, who are also skilled at helping participants grow
photographically while making excellent images. They lead nature
photography adventures around the world and have guided many
participants to becoming better nature photographers and stewards of the
planet.
They are not just good nature
photographers who happen to be leading a trip - they have great skills
at helping you become a better photographer and at getting to the the
right place at the right time for action!
This is not their first time in the
Galapagos - Diane led her first group of photographers here in 1985! |
|
· We
have itineraries planned around photography – and we go ashore for “the good
light” and for premium “wildlife activity”.
We ARE the only
group on the boat - so our landings and return to the boat are only influenced
by photography and the rules of the islands - not by another group wanting to
hurry along a trail and get back to boat. |
 |
 |
· Our
naturalist guide, Juan Manuel Salcedo, is among the best in the world – he grew
up in the Galapagos, has a strong natural history education, and has first-hand
knowledge of both geological and biological patterns. He is also a photographer
himself and understands the challenges and opportunities of photography in the
Galapagos. |
|
· Our
groups are small – no more than 12 for two photography guides and one
naturalist guide. And, we have the entire Samba to ourselves - no
other groups get in our way or compete for landing or trail times. |
 |
 |
· The
yacht is laid out in a great way to facilitate downloads and battery
charging, photography discussions, and even PowerPoint presentations.
There is a great open deck that gives photographers plenty of working
room when we spot whales, play with dolphins, or approach exciting land
masses.
|
|
· Our
guide has designed and secured two great itineraries for photographers –
both in choice of islands and time slots ashore. (Each vessel in the
Galapagos has itineraries assigned by the National Park). Each of our
itineraries opens unique photographic opportunities – you can choose
between them – or choose to join us for both. Each itinerary visits a
separate set of islands, no overlap. |
 |
 |
· We’ll
have unique opportunities to photograph underwater while snorkeling.
Dive skins, masks, snorkels, and flippers will be provided at no extra
cost.

|
|
· The
Samba serves outstanding meals - the food is mostly organically grown on
the islands. Seafood is sustainably harvested. |
